Salt Lake City Updates of Single Family Homes: Numbers Decreased in July 2010!

There was a little shifting down on the number of home sales in Salt Lake City Utah Real Estate last month. The number of single family homes in Salt Lake City dropped in the market in terms of sales last July 2010. This was probably due to the just ended tax credit for first time home buyers. As recorded in Salt Lake City MLS, around 160 homes have been considered as sold out in the market. Year over year change of sales went down 43.86 percent from 285 sold homes made during July 2009 and monthly sales also decreased 30.7 percent from 231 homes were sold out last June 2010 in Salt Lake City Utah Real Estate for Sale.
The sales also brought changes in the median sold price of which July 2010 and 2009 both got the same standing but only went down from $233,000 of June 2010. The months of inventory went up to 9.88 from 6.82 of June 2010 and these home sales were on 55 median days on market in Salt Lake Homes.
There are 1581 actively listed residential homes for sale in Salt Lake City Utah of which 298 are under contract properties in the market.
