The number of condo sales went down in the market last month. Salt Lake Homes have been considering its sales of which 26 sold condos were noted in July 2010. Statistics shows that there was a year over year change of sales decrease of 58.73 percent from 63 sold homes recorded in July 2009. The 26 sold homes in July was also down 54.4 percent from 57 sold homes in June 2010.
Salt Lake City Utah Condominiums got a median sold price of $172,500 of which rocketed up 10.14 percent from $155,000 of July 2009 and was still higher than June’s median sold price of $166,944. The months of inventory was about 23.96 and the home sales have been 111 median days on market.
Currently, there are 623 condos for sale in Salt Lake City Utah of which 59 are under contract properties. The drastic decline of home sales in Salt Lake City Utah Real Estate probably due to the just ended tax credit for first time home buyers in the market. With these incentives in the real estate market, home buyers have been encouraged more to purchase properties most especially during Spring time this year.
